An exciting temporary full-time opportunity exists for a Manager (Regulatory Analytics and Intelligence) within the Regulatory Compliance and Enforcement (RC&E) team. You will play a fundamental role in TMR Regulatory Compliance and Enforcement, balancing leadership, and technical competency. You will lead with agility & innovation and will play a pivotal role in leveraging actionable insights from intelligence and data analysis, and digital technologies.

As an innovative and modern regulator, our focus is a Safe Systems approach, seeking to deliver a high-quality Regulatory Compliance and Enforcement agenda.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Design and lead TMR's Regulatory Intelligence and Analytics Strategy, framework and program. Supporting the Regulatory Compliance and Enforcement model; to move the department towards being a leader in proactive, risk-based and intelligence-led regulation.
• Leading a multi-faceted regulatory work program focussed on data and intelligence and risk-based priorities, whist working towards best practice and forward-thinking intelligence and data analysis outcomes.
• Leading change in an evolving intelligence function within TMR and manage positive change, such that intelligence-led decision-making is adopted at the strategic, tactical and operational business levels.
• As a manager, you will lead, mentor, and evolve a team of intelligence and data analysts to advance the department's intelligence capability by cultivating a strong team culture focused on continuous improvement, fostering collaboration and ensuring open communication through agile methodologies.

Highly desirable qualifications and conditions:
• Qualifications in Intelligence Analysis and/or Data Analysis are not mandatory but will be well regarded for this role.
• Demonstrated experience in and knowledge of intelligence and associated systems and technology. Proven experience in supporting enforcement and product service delivery, operational activities involving investigations to improve departmental compliance and enforcement outcomes.
• Prior experience in managing collaborative teams to support regulatory compliance service delivery, operational activities involving investigations, enforcement and auditing to improve departmental outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience of having both, a tactical/operational and strategic focus, aiming to shape direction and applying continuous improvement by understanding business requirements, direction and priorities and how analytical services can support business outcomes.
