You will be responsible for the coordination and provision of comprehensive and timely executive support to the Office of the General Manager, Strategic Policy and Intergovernmental Relations.

What you will be doing:
• Coordinate the delivery of submissions, documentation, proposals and initiatives requiring departmental or divisional responses on behalf of the General Manager.
• Liaise with key departmental officers within Policy, Performance and First Nations, as well as other departmental divisions, to ensure the effective preparation and coordination information requests.
• Provide high level specialist advice and support to the General Manager in relation to stakeholder and client related matters.
• Respond in a timely manner to all requests for information from the Offices of the Minister and the Director-General, which includes requests from Electorate offices and the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.
• Undertake or assisting various research or analytical tasks relating to the operations of the division
• Remain abreast of emerging issues impacting on the portfolio and providing advice to the General Manager and other executives on appropriate courses of action.
• Assist in the management of the Office of the General Managers mailbox.
• Ensure compliance with information management and recordkeeping requirements
• Work with agility and flexibility to meet changing team and divisional needs.
• Support and help maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day-to-day operations.
