• Manage licensing invoice process which includes raising of biannual invoices, issue of debt recovery notices and process repayment agreement requests.
• Responsible for scrutinising client accounts in SAP, including balancing of daily invoice payments, journaling of monies between accounts, issuing refunds and raising of invoices when required.
• Provide advice to clients on the Fisheries Act 1994 and subordinate legislation, policies and other management arrangements relating to fishing activities in Queensland waters.
• Process applications for the various licensing transactions, such as the issue, transfer, amendment, surrender etc. of licences, permits and quota, associated with those fishing activities.
• Maintain fisheries information systems and provide licensing information to clients who apply to search the Register of Authorities under the Fisheries Act 1994.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external clients including the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral forms, displaying sensitivity and understanding, diplomacy and discretion when required.
• Work with minimal supervision within a team environment, set realistic goals, establish priorities and manage debt recovery timeframes. 
• Provide advice to management on the effectiveness of licensing and management arrangements and ways to improve service delivery.
• Undertake other duties as required relating to the requirements of the operational area.
