About the Role:

The Rail Infrastructure Delivery Office (RIDO) is delivering some of Queensland’s most exciting rail infrastructure projects. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Advisor (Project Controls Office) to join the New Albion Station Project team.

In this role, you will support the Manager (Project Controls Office) to lead the delivery of key business management functions, with a focus on governance, project management, and reporting. You will work closely with the Manager, Project Director and senior stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

What Your Day-to-Day Could Look Like:
• Prepare high-quality project management plans and project performance reports by integrating, analysing, and reporting on information across the project, emerging trends and issues.
• Interrogate systems to source required information, applying methods to ensure the credibility of reporting and the evidence sourced.
• Lead the identification, analysis and reporting of the project's risks and compliance functions.
• Lead governance secretariat duties, including, liaising with key internal and external stakeholders for the preparation of meeting materials, minutes, briefs, submissions and reports.
• Cultivate and maintain effective relationships with discipline leads across the project team and wider department to ensure integration with other reporting processes and a best practice approach.
• Lead the prioritisation, management and delivery of set tasks and activities with an emphasis on meeting deadlines within quality, cost and time constraints.

What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a strategic thinker with strong experience in project governance and business management. You'll be confident working in fast-paced, complex environments, have excellent communication skills, and bring a proactive, solutionsfocused mindset. Experience in major transport infrastructure delivery projects is highly desirable.
