As our Principal Facilities Officer, you will:
• Support the Manager Logistics and Supply Chain to lead the team responsible for managing the National Fire Ant Eradication Program (the Program) facilities to ensure delivery of an effective and safe work environment. May include oversight of after-hours and weekend security and duties.
• Contribute specialist knowledge and provide associated advice to the Program to facilitate effective delivery of on-going services, projects, and strategies in relation to management of facilities.
• Prepare reports, submissions, correspondence of a substantial & complex nature addressing important and sensitive issues requiring specialist expertise and nuanced advice relating to fleet and asset management.

As our Principal Facilities Officer, you will:
• Support the Manager Logistics and Supply Chain to lead the team responsible for managing the National Fire Ant Eradication Program (the Program) facilities to ensure delivery of an effective and safe work environment. This may include oversight of after-hours and weekend security and duties.
• Contribute specialist knowledge and provide associated advice to the Program to facilitate effective delivery of on-going services, projects, and strategies in relation to management of facilities.
• Prepare reports, submissions and correspondence of a substantial and complex nature addressing important and sensitive issues requiring specialist expertise and nuanced advice relating to fleet and asset management.
• Ensure ongoing business improvement to achieve maximum return on investment for resource expenditure (e.g., manage budget set for facilities leasing, managing relocation and maintenance of delivery of goods and vehicles) build and share internal and external networks and work cooperatively across boundaries to achieve effective outcomes.
• Advise and support management in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of facilities strategies for the Program (e.g., security access).
