This role is for an inspired Team Leader interested in working in a collaborative and effective part-time arrangement managing a team of highly skilled and motivated people providing technical support and advice to Operational Rangers. If you like using your initiative to solve problems, working with multi-faceted teams across a diverse range of business areas, and developing your program management skills then you will find this a challenging but rewarding role.

Your project, program, organisational and leadership skills will be key in juggling and meeting competing priorities, while your ability to motivate and influence your teams will be the key to achieving outcomes in a busy and changing environment.
To be successful in the role, you will also have:
• Strong leadership, collaboration and engagement skills, particularly an ability to lead and support teams to plan and deliver funded, region-wide programs.
• Strong project and program management and organisational skills, including experience in planning and implementing asset and financial management policy and procedures.
• Problem solving skills, initiative, self-motivation and a drive for continuous program improvement.
• A strong understanding or workplace, health and safety policy and procedures.
• High level negotiation and communication skills to ensure the efficient delivery of asset-related programs, in partnership with operational staff, across a large geographic area.
• High level writing, communication, systems management and reporting skills.
