This position is based in Brisbane and flexible arrangements can be considered upon application, including working from home and working remotely at a Regional QBCC office subject to availability.
Key Outcomes and Accountabilities
- Reviewing and assessing licensing matters in accordance with delegation including refusal of licence applications and decision outcomes.
- Interpret and apply policy and legislation.
- Undertake research for cases and projects.
- Represent the QBCC in promotional and educational activities.
- Represent the QBCC in hearings before the tribunal and courts as required.
- Participate in planning and change management activities making recommendations for improvements.
- Gather industry intelligence to ensure proactive service delivery.
- Undertake general administrative duties, liaise with licensees, respond to general licensing enquiries and support communication across the QBCC.
