The Office of the Queensland Parliamentary Counsel (OQPC) have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Information and Technology Services (ITS).
OQPC is a statutory office responsible for drafting and publishing Queensland legislation.
As Manager, ITS you will lead the strategic, technical and operational aspects of OQPC's information and technology services function, whilst working collaboratively with OQPC colleagues to deliver responsive, high-quality services.

In this role you will get the opportunity to:
• Lead, coach and manage the ITS team, ensuring performance targets are met and develop strategies that enhance staff performance and development.
• Develop a forward work program for legislative drafting and publishing system enhancements, drive implementation of the program and regularly report on progress.
• Ensure OQPC's information systems and information management practices are of a high quality, efficient and effective, compliant with relevant standards and legislation, client-focused and meet client expectations.
• Provide robust, high quality strategic advice, information analysis and guidance on significant technology and information management matters affecting OQPC including preparing proposals, recommendations, submission and briefs of a complex nature.
• Ensure cost-effective procurement and stringent contract management for all systems and information management vendor arrangements.
• Facilitate and build strong, effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and clients, and work with technical experts to identify and manage risks and emerging technology and infrastructure issues that may impact on OQPC's legislative drafting and publishing system, legislation website and information management.
