Are you a highly organised, proactive administrative professional ready to support key infrastructure projects that impact Queensland's justice system?
Join the Department of Justice as an Infrastructure Administrative Officer and play a vital role within our Strategic Planning Team. You will provide essential administrative and project support to senior leadership, helping deliver infrastructure initiatives that ensure Queensland's courthouses remain safe, functional, and fit for purpose.
In this role, you will:
• Provide administrative support to the Manager, Strategic Infrastructure Planning, and other leaders.
• Coordinate project reporting, including performance monitoring, estimates committee submissions, and annual reports.
• Assist with procurement and contract management activities in line with government policies.
• Maintain accurate records and administrative systems such as eDocs and SharePoint.
• Prepare high-quality correspondence, presentations, and project documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Support meeting coordination to keep projects on track.
About you
• Experience providing administrative support within a complex project or infrastructure environment.
• Strong communication skills with attention to detail in written materials and project documentation.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Problem-solving skills and the capacity to apply innovative solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• A proactive, collaborative approach and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
