Nestled amongst the stunning Torres Strait Islands in remote Far North Queensland, Tagai State College delivers high-quality education across 17 unique island campuses and an Executive Office. Spanning more than 48,000 square kilometres and serving the diverse communities of the Torres Strait Nation, our college provides a culturally rich and inclusive learning environment where strong community connections are at the heart of everything we do. We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Primary Teachers to join our vibrant school communities on some of the Torres Strait's beautiful and remote islands.

Current Primary Opportunities:
- Year 1 – 3 – Dauan Island Campus (Permanent, commencing 13th July 2026)
- Year 4 – 6 - Yorke Island Campus (Temporary, ASAP - 4/12/2026)
- Year 2 – 4 - Yam Island Campus (Temporary, ASAP - 4/12/2026)
Please note; Dauan Island Campus is only accessible by charter helicopter.
