A rewarding leadership role awaits an experienced recruitment specialist looking to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic Talent Acquisition team with Queensland Corrective Services (QCS). The Talent Acquisition Group is responsible for the recruitment of Custodial Correctional Officers (CCO) and Community Corrections and Specialist Operations roles across the state as well as Security Checks and ID Cards. The team are primarily responsible for the end-to-end recruitment processes with a focus on high quality candidates.

Take the lead in a dynamic, people-focused position where you'll manage a dedicated team and oversee the full recruitment lifecycle for Community Corrections and Specialist Operations. You'll be the driving force behind best practice hiring strategies, using data to guide inclusive and effective decision-making.
A key part of your success will be your ability to foster strong partnerships across QCS. Engaging closely with regional managers, operational teams, and community stakeholders to ensure recruitment efforts are aligned with organisational goals. Your collaborative style will help shape a positive, consistent candidate experience while supporting QCS's broader workforce objectives.
Beyond recruitment operations, you'll represent QCS at external events, host informative sessions, and contribute to marketing campaigns that showcase meaningful career pathways.

To be successful in this role, applicants will demonstrate:
- Proven ability to deliver client focused, high volume, end-to-end recruitment
- Strong understanding of contemporary attraction and sourcing strategies, along with knowledge of candidate assessment and selection methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to build effective, collaborative partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders, both internal and external
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of HR initiatives, with a particular focus on recruitment and workforce engagement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
