An exciting opportunity exists to join the Department with the PKSI Team. Operating from within the Office of the Executives this is your opportunity to support a busy executive in leading a team of professionals focused on delivering better outcomes for the water sector. You will manage and coordinate the efficient activities and operations of the Branch and support the delivery of key reform programs across the
Department.
About the role
• Coordinate the daily flow of corporate documents and activities to designated timelines, whilst ensuring consistency of content and ensuring quality assurance.
• Provide support and advice to Directors and the Executive Director in the Water Operations and Systems Branch and prepare including critically analysing and quality assuring high quality submissions, briefs, presentations and reports relating to complex issues of a confidential and sensitive nature as required. Particularly:
• Support the management of the branch establishment, budget, organisational structure, recruitment and overall resourcing requirements.
• Provide reliable, timely and quality information and advice on matters relating to key projects
• Provide Secretariat services as requested by the Executive Director and the Branch Leadership Team
• Support group and branch leadership team members
• Develop and maintain networks and positive working relationships
• Identify the need for and facilitate the timely preparation of briefing notes for Executive on matters relating to departmental programs.
• Assist the leadership team to plan and review work programs, staff development and communication issues as requested.
• Use skills in analysis and problem solving to assist Executive Director.
