This role will assist the Director (Delivery Portfolio Management Office) to interface with key stakeholders, ensuring effective integration and strategic alignment across the department and Queensland Rail.
Accountabilities include:
• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for the Rail Portfolio on behalf of the Rail Portfolio Management Office.
• Undertake the following activities to support portfolio integration, sequencing, prioritisation and reprioritisation:
o Develop regular portfolio reporting, including portfolio status and related insights.
o Drive continuous improvement in reporting outputs to enhance portfolio insights and stakeholder engagement.
• Work with the various Programs and Projects to standardise reporting inputs and ensure adherence to the IMS hierarchy.
• Maintain and regularly test data efficacy to ensure the robustness of the portfolio.
• Undertake scenario analysis to identify potential impacts to the Rail portfolio.
Mandatory qualifications and conditions:
• Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
• It is a condition of employment for recommended appointee/s to disclose any previous serious discipline action taken against them for consideration by the delegate prior to any appointment.
Desirable:
• Program and Project Offices (P3O®), Managing Successful Programs (MSP®) Practitioner Certification and extensive program management experience preferably with large infrastructure programs.
• Thorough understanding of Primavera P6, and Power Bi.
Requirements of the role:
• Program Project Management: Strong skills in program and project management are needed, including planning, monitoring, and reporting on project milestones and financial performance. Proficiency in using project management methodologies and tools is required.
