In the Intelligence Operations Officer (IOO) role you will contribute to Regulatory Analysis and Intelligence team's service delivery, ensuring it is high quality and continues to evolve as needs require. Additionally, you will assist with intelligence collection efforts.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a junior intelligence analyst to gain regulatory intelligence experience working alongside experienced practitioners, providing opportunities for professional development in the areas of intelligence, data analysis, data management, systems and regulatory compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Database Management: Maintaining and updating databases and records, ensuring accurate and timely information is available for intelligence operations. Assisting with the maintenance, development and enhancement of the Compliance Intelligence Database (CID) system; supporting operational business needs, and quality assurance processes for CID and other key information technology systems used in providing intelligence services to RC&E.
• Intelligence Support: Aiding operational teams by actively participating, communicating and providing support to team members to enhance the outcomes of the activities of the Analysis unit, including preparing reports and maintaining records.
• Demonstrating initiative by assisting with projects in the evaluation of data request, trends, data collection and analysis, and undertaking research and analysis: gathering, collating, and analysing information from various sources to produce actionable intelligence.
• Contribute to and participate in staff training sessions to ensure all existing and new team members are kept informed of system or procedural developments, as required. Collaborate and engage with the staff from the Analysis unit about training and support needs of stakeholders and later assist in delivering on those needs.
• Participate, communicate and provide support to team members to enhance the outcomes of the activities of the Analysis unit. Provide first-level support to operational RC&E staff, other TMR business units, and occasionally to other state jurisdictions authorities.
We recognise and celebrate that everyone is unique and seek the applicant best suited to the role. We will assess your experience, knowledge and acquired skills as well as your potential for development and your personal qualities.
