Assessment & Monitoring Officer

Professional Standards is responsible for responding to and mitigating employee corrupt conduct and serious misconduct, particularly experienced by those most vulnerable in the families, child protection, seniors and disability services systems, with a goal to contribute to their success in living safely in the community.
The role of the Intake Officer is to assist in triage and record cases of suspected employee misconduct and alleged corrupt conduct. They effectively monitor a caseload of matters being dealt with by operational areas to ensure timely resolution, along with supporting the administrative functions of the team.

As an Intake Officer, you will:
- Assist in the triage of referrals and complaints involving suspected employee misconduct and alleged corrupt conduct; and develop appropriate management strategies.
- Assist in managing the process of referring matters to the Crime and Corruption Commission to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Crime and Corruption Act 2001.
- Assist in effectively managing public interest disclosures submitted under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010 in accordance with legislation, standards and departmental policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the reporting of public interest disclosure data in alignment with the department's legislative requirements to the Queensland Ombudsman as per the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2010.
- Effectively monitor matters being dealt with by operational areas to ensure timely resolution.
- Actively maintain the Professional Standards' records, case and file management systems.
- Assist with the provision of effective core business statistic reports for the Office of the Minister and Director-General within tight timeframes
- Assist with the collation of data required from Professional Standards for Parliamentary Questions on Notice, Estimates Briefs and Annual Reports.
- Provide support and assistance to the Manager, Professional Standards as required.
