We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Officer to join our Koala Assessment and Compliance team. In this job you will be able to make a real contribution to the protection of koalas and their habitat in South East Queensland, by working as part of a team in the delivery of assessment and compliance services under the Planning Act 2016.
You’ll be instrumental in improving and redesigning business systems and processes, managing data and correspondence, and maintaining SharePoint sites that support our operational work.

Key Responsibilities
• Support the development and continuous improvement of systems and processes for koala habitat protection.
• Provide advice and assistance to internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare briefings, reports, recommendations, and correspondence.
• Manage shared inboxes, scheduling, and document workflows.
• Design and maintain SharePoint sites and contribute to data reporting using tools like Power BI.
• Provide project, administrative, and financial support to the team.
• Represent the team in meetings and forums.
• Provide administrative, human resources, project management and financial management support.
• Contribute to culturally inclusive practices and outcomes for First Nations people.
