You will form an integral part of a high-performing and accountable team responsible for engaging with external security and infrastructure professionals.

The core responsibilities are:

• research, develop, review, and deliver stakeholder management and capability building strategies to support the administration of the Act, and a program of work focusing on enhancing protective security outcomes, exercises and counter-terrorism preparedness.

• liaise, consult, and negotiate with surface transport operators, other branches of TMR, other government agencies and industry to achieve transport security outcomes.

• coordinate administrative and secretariat support to security and counter terrorism related governance structures, committees, meetings and/or working groups.

• maintain detailed documentation to plan for, progress and achieve security deliverables outcomes within time, quality and cost expectations.

• represent the team and/or department at forums, committees and working groups to develop, and implement policies or projects consistent with Queensland's counter terrorism and security strategic priorities.

• drive a culture of collaboration, open communication, and continuous improvement.

• other accountabilities and tasks as reasonably directed.
