We are looking for an exceptional Rehabilitation Medicine consultant to join our Persistent Pain department within Sunshine Coast Health (SCH).

SCHHS Salary includes:

• Base salary comprising of between
  • Staff Specialist L18 – L24 $100.77 - $117.05 p.h.
  • Senior Staff Specialist L25 – L27 $120.51 - $127.77 p.h.
• Motor vehicle allowance (pro rata for Part-time)
  • Staff Specialist L18 – L24 $21,000 p.a.
  • Senior Staff Specialist L25 – L27 $25,500 p.a.
• Attraction and Retention Allowance up to 50% of base salary
• Professional development allowance $21,500 p.a. (pro rata for Part-time)

The Staff Specialist/Senior Staff Specialist (Persistent Pain – Rehabilitation Medicine) provides high quality Rehabilitation Medicine within the Persistent Pain Management Services and patient care within Sunshine Coast Health (SCH). 

The Sunshine Coast Persistent Pain Management Service is an interdisciplinary service which supports patients with persistent pain to self-manage their disease and improve their quality of life by providing multidisciplinary specialist input as well as provide individual and group based programs with an emphasis on collaboration with the primary care provider. The service has a strong focus on restoration of function and a rehabilitation approach.
