As a member of the Health and Safety Operational team within the Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Group, your focus will be to contribute to the department’s Low Custody Correctional Facilities across the state.

In this role you will provide competent evidence-based advice, guidance and coaching to management and staff on all aspects of workplace health, safety and wellbeing. The role focuses on building capability across the organisation, especially that which supports frontline staff and operations, and which supports continuous improvement and a safety culture.
While based in the Health and Safety Operational team, the Senior Advisor (Health & Safety) works flexibly across the organisation in close partnership with other business units and frontline areas, to build a capable and resilient workforce. Particular focus is on proactive, preventative and innovative approaches to managing the impacts of working in high risk, dynamic environments including workcamps and farms.
