As a Senior Knowledge Lawyer, you will draw on your experience with a particular focus in personal injury law, to help others in the practice to work efficiently. With a passion for innovation and continuous improvement, you will also develop a new Knowledge Management Strategy for Crown Law.

Collaboration and relationship-building are integral to this autonomous position which is not tied to billable hours. You will be well supported by our Senior Leadership Team and IT specialists. In addition, you'll be part of a collaborative network of colleagues across the practice, ready to share insights, exchange ideas, and drive change.

  • Review Crown Law's existing suite of precedents and manage updates in collaboration with our IT specialists.
  • Work with other lawyers to establish efficient processes to capture key knowledge at all stages of client engagement to inform our suite of precedents.
  • Draft minor updates to precedents.
  • Elicit contributions to Crown Law's knowledge documents and maintain our knowledge repository (including internal and external expert database and presentation database).
  • Execute Crown Law's Knowledge Management Strategy and contribute to practice wide knowledge and learnings.
  • Provide training to lawyers and paralegals on the use of precedents to drive consistency and efficiency across the practice.
  • Identify areas which could benefit from improved consistency in collaboration with the Deputy Crown Solicitor.
  • Manage standard form contracts including Australian Standards Contracts.
  • Monitor legislation and industry developments to prepare case law and general industry updates.
