Temporary opportunities are available for Senior Case Manager (PO3) roles within North Coast Community Corrections. Positions may be available at the following District Office locations - Gympie, Maroochydore, Caboolture, Redcliffe, Pine Rivers.

The Senior Case Manager ensures a high level of community safety through the case management of offenders within the community in accordance with their assessed risk and need and maintains high standards of offender assessment practices that facilitate effective supervision and improve reintegration and rehabilitation of high-risk sexual and violent offenders.

Essential requirements:
- Able to demonstrate experience working within a legislative framework that underpins a core service delivery area.
- Able to work self-sufficiently and be confident in your own professional discretion, reasoning, judgement, and decision-making skills prior to seeking management validation.
- Able to demonstrate previous experiences of fostering a new relationship and receiving positive reinforcement in return to demonstrate the relationship was well developed.
- Communicate professionally and engages with respect with colleagues, offenders, management and stakeholders. Experience in working collaboratively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to embrace diversity and maximise the whole range of skills and differences available within the workforce.
Mandatory requirements:
- Possession of a degree relevant for the human services or criminology fields such as Law, Justice, Humanities, Psychology, Social Sciences, Social Welfare, Health, Education, Business and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies.
- The incumbent will be required to undertake professional development and training relevant to the role as required.
- The incumbent may be required to travel on official business and the possession of a C class licence is required.
- A suitability pool may be created and utilised for recurring vacancies in the next twelve months.
