Role details
The Research Support Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Principal Research Fellow to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
To support the development, strategic management and implementation of the Queensland Health HP research agenda in northern Queensland by providing well developed research knowledge and skills. The position will provide supervision, training, education, mentoring and assistance to Health Practitioner staff and to research students for research activities.
The position will academically supervise, support, mentor and facilitate the development of Queensland Health HP staff and undergraduate and post-graduate students undertaking research relevant to Health Practitioner practice.

Mackay Institute of Research and Innovation (MIRI) is an emerging health service-led translational research and innovation centre; a collaboration between Mackay Hospital and Health Service (HHS) and our academic partners.
