We’re seeking a dynamic Director to co-lead our Chief Scientist Coordination and Engagement team. This is a fantastic job-share opportunity – perfect for someone looking to balance their professional ambitions with flexibility.

This is a part-time / job-share role, ideal for an experienced or emerging leader who values flexibility and collaboration. The position is initially for six months, with the possibility of extension.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Director, you'll play a pivotal part in supporting the Queensland Chief Scientist and advancing our state's science priorities. You'll:
• Provide high-level strategic advice and coordination across government and to external partners.
• Lead and inspire a talented team delivering impactful science engagement programs.
• Drive innovative initiatives that connect science, policy and community.
• Represent the Department at key forums and champion Queensland's scientific strengths.
