As the Senior End User Computing (EUC) Engineer you will be responsible for providing quality tier 3 end user compute technology solutions and support for the department.

You’ll collaborate closely with infrastructure, network, security, and service desk teams to assist in scoping, configuring, testing, deploying, and maintaining/patching the DOJ EUC Managed Operating Environment (MOE), ensuring consideration of all relevant process and system inter-dependencies.

Your key responsibilities:

• The role requires you to work collaboratively in a primarily infrastructure and End User Computing (EUC) disciplined team and requires you to manage and support EUC devices and services in a corporate/enterprise technical landscape.
• Proactively reviews information in conjunction with service level agreements to identify capacity or availability issues, specified and required changes through advice supporting the design or service components and scalable capacity.
• Provide data-driven proactive administrative management, maintenance, and analysis for Microsoft 365 applications and services (e.g., Microsoft Teams,
Microsoft SharePoint, Teams Voice/Calling, Teams Meeting Rooms, and MS Forms).
• Provide feedback to clients, the Service Desk and Application teams regarding the state of problems and service required to ensure that agreed service levels and client service standards are achieved.
• Configure tools and/or scripts to automate the provisioning, testing and deployment of new and changed End User Computing (EUC) infrastructure and
services, maintaining operational procedures and monitors that they are executed following agreed standards.
• Provide third level support and maintenance of the EUC technical landscape, analyses root causes of incidents, recommends problem resolutions and lead the implementation of remediation solutions.
• Liaise effectively with clients, multi-disciplinary technology groups and external stakeholders on enterprise infrastructure and EUC matters.
• Research skills and provide advice in the continuous improvement of existing EUC infrastructure and services and evaluation of new and emerging technologies.
• Maintain knowledge of current trends, industry and technology directions and product road maps for enterprise end user computing technologies.
• Participate in the development, design, implementation and evaluation of EUC and Infrastructure related initiatives.
• Conduct testing and assessment of new EUC hardware and/or services.
• Package and deploy software through SCCM/Intune, configure and automate deployment processes.
• Provide mentoring and support to more junior engineers and support technicians in the appropriate use and support of EUC technologies.
