MAINTENANCE MASTER FOR QCS - SHAPE THE FUTURE OF ASSET MANAGEMENT!

We're seeking a dynamic Manager, Maintenance Services to join Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) and drive the strategic direction of maintenance management across QCS's multi-site, state-wide portfolio of high-investment physical assets! You'll lead a new team to deliver robust short- to long-range project plans, priorities, and schedules that achieve quality commercial expenditure and value.

YOUR IMPACT:

• Develop FIT-FOR-PURPOSE maintenance management frameworks aligned with QCS strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with operational teams to establish sound maintenance programs, scopes of work, contractor KPIs, schedules, and budgets.
• Drive EVIDENCE-BASED collection and analysis of facility/asset utilisation and maintenance data for commercially sound planning decisions.
• Prepare complex reports, briefing notes, business cases, and presentations to inform stakeholders up to Commissioner level.
• Establish PRODUCTIVE AND ETHICAL RELATIONSHIPS with external stakeholders like maintenance contractors and service providers.

YOU'LL NEED:

STRATEGIC THINKING: Understanding of strategic directives and alignment with operational plans in a complex, high-security public sector organisation.
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT PROWESS: Proven experience in contract negotiation and management of facility maintenance services.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS: Experience in project management methodologies, developing project schedules, and managing high-risk projects.
LEADERSHIP THAT DELIVERS: Solid leadership skills in creating and maintaining effective teams and driving performance.
STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT: High-level interpersonal skills to build strategic relationships and negotiate on sensitive issues.
