Key Outcomes and Accountabilities 

The aim of this role is to:

  • Actively participate, and take a lead role when required, in the development, implementation and review of strategic, operational planning, and performance reporting activities, policies, processes and frameworks to meet organisational needs.
  • Manage key strategic and operational planning processes, including the regular review of performance indicators against outcomes desired.
  • Lead the development and preparation of QBCC's annual, quarterly, and other supporting reports.
  • Actively participate and take a lead role when required, in specific initiatives that leads to the improvement of QBCC's strategy, planning and reporting activities.

Candidate attributes

You will be assessed on your capability and capacity for the following in the context of the accountabilities above.

  1. Demonstrated skills in building and sustaining positive relationships with team members, divisions, customers and stakeholders by developing effective networks, consulting, negotiating and collaborating to achieve results.
  2. Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality written reports, briefs and strategic documents that are clear, well-structured and tailored to diverse audiences, including senior executives and external stakeholders.
  3. The ability to effectively apply knowledge and experience in strategy development, planning, performance measurement and reporting frameworks to support the achievement of the business unit goals, while demonstrating a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
  4. Proven ability to manage time and prioritise effectively, working both independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines through clear goal setting, efficient resource allocation, proactive risk management and ongoing performance monitoring.
  5. Consistently achieves assigned objectives, demonstrating perseverance and resilience when faced with challenges
  6. Uses or deploys expert communication skills in a variety of setting and styles, sensitive to the context and the impact of the message.
  7. Demonstrated skills in building and sustaining positive relationships with team members, divisions, customers and stakeholders by developing effective networks, consulting, negotiating and collaborating to achieve results.
