The position is based in Brisbane, and the successful candidate will have the option to work from home under an approved Flexible Work Arrangement that suits the team.
Key Outcomes and Accountabilities
- Coordinate the implementation and assurance of information management policies and standard practice.
- Monitor the implementation of effective controls for internal delegation, audit and controls relating to information management.
- Manage the QBCC Information Asset Register and promote effective information custodianship.
- Report on the consolidated status of information controls to inform effective decision-making.
- Identify risks around the use of information, recommend remediation actions and work with stakeholders to implement.

Candidate Attributes
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, including written communication, and the ability to consult at appropriate levels within government.
- Proven ability in providing a high level of customer service both internally and externally particularly in a decentralised information management function.
- Proven ability to collaborate within teams of multi-disciplinary professionals to achieve output objectives, while managing time and balancing competing priorities to deliver successful outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to participate and motivate staff to engage in education, training or organisational change activities in order to work towards future objectives and achieve agreed outcomes.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of undertaking information management practices and government compliance requirements, standards and frameworks.
- Developed digital skills and ability to apply digital skills within information management.
