RoadTek Brisbane (Nathan) have an opportunity for a Construction Worker Band C (Supervisor) to join their Responsive Maintenance Team on a temporary basis.

RoadTek is a multi-disciplined commercial business within the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) and works on a diverse range of projects which positively improve Queensland communities.

In this role within the Responsive Maintenance Contract (RMC) team, your activities include: 
• Stewardship of the Metropolitan Road network to ensure that transport infrastructure assets function safely and continue to deliver their original intended function by undertaking regular routine maintenance activities. 
• Repairs and maintenance including road furniture, debris removal, incident response, graffiti removal, facility servicing, vegetation control and vacant properties.
• Provision of asset inspections, defect logging, corridor management and maintenance recommendations. 
• Short duration and low complexity minor works as an extension of maintenance activities. 

To work in this area, we are looking for candidates with the following: 
• Ability to work a rotating roster with varying start and finish times (days, nights, weekends) applicable penalty rates apply 
• Availability to undertake on call arrangements 
• Possession of the following qualifications/licences is highly desirable: 
o Truck Mounted Attenuator qualification 
o Traffic Management Implementation qualification 
o MR Drivers Licence 
o High risk Work Licence (forklift) 
o Experience working on high-speed, high-volume roads
