The Opportunity
As our Principal Project Officer, you will:
• Complete project actions or deliverables as assigned.
• Support the development and implementation of project plans by contributing to the design, coordination, and monitoring of project activities in line with approved project management methodologies and DPI standards.
• Prepare high-quality project documentation including status updates, briefing notes, reports, submissions, and correspondence to inform internal and external stakeholders, managing schedules, maintaining registers, tracking risks and issues as required.
• Undertake research, analysis as required.
• Provide practical advice and input to support the planning, development and implementation of business improvement initiatives that align with project objectives and DPI strategic priorities.
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the successful delivery of project activities and ensure compliance with governance requirements.
• Identify and escalate project risks, dependencies or emerging issues to the Project Manager and recommend mitigation strategies where appropriate.
