In the role of Senior Town Planner, you will be involved in corridor planning, development control and network management with respect to the region's state-controlled road network and provide specialist town planning and development assessment advice.
To help keep Queensland moving, we are actively recruiting for a Senior Town Planner with previous exposure to:
- A Degree in Town Planning or in another profession relevant to this role which is acceptable by the Planning Institute of Australia.
- Experience providing specialist town planning and development assessment advice.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrates knowledge and practice of Planning Policy in accordance with Town Planning legislation, processes and policies.
- Effective written communication skills to prepare reports and correspondence for the ministerial.
- Strong interpersonal skills, in order to maintain and manage effective liaison with both internal and external stakeholders.
