As the Principal Technical Consultant, you will:
• Leading the provision of infrastructure services, systems support and database administration of Axway, SAP and Aurion hosted on UNIX, Red Hat Linux and Microsoft Azure based platforms.
• Providing leadership in a multi-disciplinary professional team, undertake tasks, mentor and support team members and contribute to deliverables to support the specific scope and objectives of the team.
• Providing leadership in the research, analysis, evaluation and integration of infrastructure and/or connectivity throughout the QSS Domain's (including but not limited to CITEC and QSS).
• Providing specialist advice to the unit manager, team members and other key stakeholders and develop solutions to technical, functional or business issues.
• Providing leadership in coordinating and reviewing the design and implementation of various technologies within the QSS domain ensuring due diligence of deliverables from strategic IT providers.
• Developing and /or contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of project plans and schedules, including the coordination of activities or teams associated with achieving the team objectives.
This position is part of the Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business (CDSB) as part of the recent Machinery-of-Government changes. CDSB is currently in negotiations for a certified agreement to cover all CDSB employees. In the meantime, the Core Agreement conditions apply to this position.
