QBuild is a commercialised business unit of the Queensland Government. It has been Queensland Government's builder for over 160 years, playing an important role in communities across the state by building & maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations & correctional & health facilities.
Are you a passionate & experienced leader with management skills that expertly guides your team by example? QBuild are seeking a Manager Solutions Development & Support to join our Business Improvements & Systems team. Our team charter is to proactively support & enhance QBuild's business operations & performance by leading innovation, preparing staff for change & delivering reliable technology & processes.
About the role
The manager role provides expert advice to QBuild leadership & all stakeholders on the QBuild solution ecosystem evolution & capability. You will build & maintain solid & robust relationships with the areas & teams that are responsible for the technical aspects of the solutions. You will be responsible for leading & managing a team of approximately 20 employees accountable for the business wide usage of solutions in QBuild. A significant function of this role is to recommend & deliver strategies that provide high level service support to resolve usage issues & ensure continuous improvements.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience leading & managing teams to deliver both, proactive & tactical solutions that provide stability & elevate business & employee performance. Your ability to understand, identify & ensure service & product alignment with business needs, leverage stakeholder relationships & coordinate service delivery with internal & external providers is paramount to deliver effective system support, upgrades & enhancements.
