The Technology and Systems Delivery PMO is a high performing group of project delivery professional who support the strategic goals of Translink by delivering a program of transformational projects that leverage technology to create better business and customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities
The purpose of the Program Manager is to manage the overall program made up of multiple complex business transformation projects. This would include engagement with other business units on strategic project directions, the management of change processes, reporting and, the coordination, establishment, and monitoring of the program and operational support activities.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Lead and manage in the planning and implementing of a range of new and innovative projects aimed at delivering improved customer outcomes and increased patronage including research trials and drive benefits capture by the business.
• Regularly report on and highlight risks and issues to the Director that could impact the timely delivery of key milestones in programs and projects.
• Liaise with other members of the management team on the implementation of approved project management methodologies and provide feedback on the appropriateness of those methodologies.
• Partner with other relevant TMR Divisions to ensure that a holistic view of requirements and solutions are achieved in the delivery of programs and projects undertaken.
• Consulting, liaising, influencing, and negotiating with subject matter experts, project managers/members and stakeholders to support the delivery of agreed outcomes.
• Proactively manage and supervise all aspects of staff performance management including recruitment and selection, appraising, and developing staff, ethical behaviour and decision making. Provide a safe and healthy workplace through managing resources to ensure compliance with workplace health and safety and employee rehabilitation legislation, codes of practice, standards and departmental policy and procedures including risk management and corrective action programs.
• Leadership and people management including the management of recruitment, performance, development, team communication, and ensuring a safe and diverse work environment.
• Management functions including business planning, financial management, governance, and other responsibilities as legislated in the Public Service Act 2008 to ensure delivery of a responsive, effective, and efficient services to the community and the Government.
• Other accountabilities and tasks as reasonably directed.

Requirements of the role
• Demonstrated skills in managing and leading high performing project and program teams in large complex organisations.
• Strong applied knowledge of project and program management frameworks, with ability to think critically with a focus on delivery.
• Experience in an outsourced multi-vendor environment and proven business acumen including experience with contract and supplier management.
• Demonstrable experience working within operational environments where maintaining service availability is a critical business imperative.
