Electronic Monitoring Surveillance Unit Supervisor
High Risk Offender Management Unit; Community Corrections; Community Corrections and Specialist Operations; Wacol
The High-Risk Offender Management Unit (HROMU) team based in the Brisbane and Townsville regions is responsible for the supervision of offenders subject to a supervision order pursuant to the Dangerous Prisoners (Sexual Offenders) Act 2003 (DPSOA) residing throughout Queensland and the electronic monitoring of offenders on parole. It comprises of the following work groups:
*HROMU Strategic Risk and Support, including the Clinical Support Unit;
*HROMU Operations SEQ, operating from the Wacol area;
* HROMU Central to Far Northern, operating from Townsville
* The Electronic Monitoring and Surveillance Unit (EMSU), responsible for the statewide GPS offender monitoring program.

The essential requirements for this role are:
- Experience in, and understanding of, supervision and surveillance practices in a human services or related field
- Experience in supervising a small team and developing operational rosters
- Experience in a criminal justice environment or similar human services, regulatory agency
- Ability to engage with community groups and/or external services providers
- Ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Demonstrated knowledge, interpretation and application of legislation, policies and procedure
Qualifications, professional registration, conditions and other requirements:
- Possession of C Class driver's license
