We have a temporary vacancy until 30 June 2029 for a Senior Advisor (Governance and Reporting) on the Beerburrum to Nambour Rail Upgrade – Project. In this role, you will be part of a dedicated team supporting the successful delivery of this $1.004 billion rail infrastructure project. Embedded within the project, you will lead the development and implementation of governance and reporting activities, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and providing clear, effective communication of project status, risks, and progress. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the delivery of one of Queensland’s most significant regional rail network upgrades, working alongside stakeholders to drive best-practice governance and informed decision-making.

The $1.004 billion Beerburrum to Nambour Rail Upgrade - Stage 1 Project is transforming one of South East Queensland's most important regional passenger rail corridors. By delivering additional track, upgraded stations, new park ‘n' ride facilities, and active transport connections, the project will boost capacity, reliability, and safety for the growing Sunshine Coast communities.
We're looking for a motivated and detail-driven Senior Advisor (Governance and Reporting) to join the project team until 30 June 2029. In this role, you'll be at the heart of how the project is governed, ensuring decision-making is informed, transparent, and aligned with established frameworks. You'll also play a key role in reporting progress, risks, and performance to project leadership and stakeholders, helping keep this complex, high-profile program on track.
In this role, you will:
• Coordinate governance processes and support the Project Change Owner inconsultation and decision-making activities.
• Develop, manage, and maintain project dashboards that clearly communicate project status, risks, and progress.
• Ensure compliance with relevant governance frameworks and obligations, including federal and state reporting requirements.
• Manage project participation in audits, health checks, and assurance reviews, implementing improvements where needed.
• Collate and analyse reporting inputs from delivery partners for briefings to senior leadership.
• Refine governance frameworks, reporting tools, and templates to enable consistent and practical oversight.
• Maintain compliance with records management policies and foster collaboration across the project team and broader organisation.
