The Right to Information (RTI) Services team is looking for a new team member to assist in managing the information access function under the Right to Information Act 2009 (the RTI Act).
Whilst this position is challenging at times, servicing multiple clients provides variety & an ability to develop your skills and knowledge of government across a number of policy and regulatory areas.

Senior Right to Information Officers (SRTIO) work within RTI Services, Business and Corporate Partnership Services, Corporate Governance and Operations in the Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation (DETSI). RTI Services manages the information access functions under the Right to Information Act 2009 (the RTI Act) and the Information Privacy Act 2009 (the IP Act) on behalf of multiple agencies, under a Business and Corporate Partnership (BCP) arrangement.
These services also include the responsibility of external review coordination, Disclosure Log publication, and the provision of advice for the administrative release of information.
In addition to DETSI, RTI Services performs these functions on behalf of the following BCP client agencies and their respective Ministerial offices: the Department of Primary Industries (DPI), the Department of Natural Resources, Mines, Manufacturing and Regional and Rural Development (DNRMMRRD), the Department of Local Government, Water and Volunteers (DLGWV), Resources Safety and Health Queensland (RSHQ), the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC), the Land Access Ombudsman (LAO) and Partners.
