Senior Programs Officer

In this role, you’ll take the lead in developing, promoting, coordinating, implementing and evaluating workforce development initiatives that directly contribute to safe and fair workplaces across Queensland.

From managing our Learning Management System (LMS) to coordinating implementation of nationally recognised qualifications, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our people are trained, competent and ready to meet the challenges of our regulatory environment.

The Workforce Capability Unit within Corporate directorate is responsible for the design and delivery of learning and development initiatives to support the strategic direction of Office of Industrial Relations. This includes the development of e-learning modules as well as the facilitation and assessment of training programs linked to nationally recognised qualifications that enhance the knowledge and skills of the workforce to achieve safe and fair workplaces and communities.

As the Learning and Development Senior Programs Officer, you will take a significant role in the development, promotion, coordination, implementation and evaluation of innovative workforce development  policies, programs and initiatives that contribute to the achievement of the OIR's strategic priorities and goals.
