Senior Advisor

In this role you will provide best practice advice, specialising in the recruitment and selection of frontline child protection professionals. Within this scope you will deliver practical information and culturally appropriate recruitment and selection methods including talent attraction, candidate assessment, guidance to tools available as well as on-boarding, induction and retention of staff.
The provision of cultural advice and guidance to support the department in achieving the desired outcome of being the most culturally competent organisation. You will also be required to contribute expert knowledge and skills to assist the team to implement strategic recruitment projects in a complex workforce.

As a Recruitment Senior Advisor you will:
- Deliver contemporary culturally appropriate advice and consulting services to executive, hiring managers, and applicants relating to vacancy management and recruitment and selection for roles across the
- Specifically manage a portfolio of clients, applicants and locations to fill vacancies in Child Safety Officer
- Build professional and productive working partnerships within a portfolio of internal and external stakeholders to facilitate quality service delivery, practice and outcomes.
- Provide guidance and recommend solutions to regional staff to ensure a positive candidate
- Represent the department across a range of arenas including at career and job fairs, and recruitment/industry events to source talent, foster strategic partnerships and build our employer brand
- Work closely with other areas of People and Culture to contribute to initiatives that enable the growth of a diverse and culturally capable workforce.
- Prepare reports and other correspondence related to human resource matters and issues, and ensure accurate records are maintained.
- Maintain sound and current knowledge of human resource management practices, policy and procedures to ensure contemporary human resource solutions are delivered to clients.
- Contribute to the evaluation of services and the implementation of new initiatives from the Department's strategic and operational plans to ensure continuous improvement and implementation of quality human resource management to achieve organisational strategic goals.
