Based in the Commercial Partnerships, Aviation unit, you'll support the management of aviation service contracts that connect remote communities. In this role, you'll draft high-quality business documents, support procurement and contract administration, and collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Legal and Procurement. You'll also analyse performance data, contribute to service improvements, and ensure compliance with government probity standards.

Key responsibilities

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and prepare high-quality correspondence and business documents to support contract management, procurement, and service extensions, working collaboratively with Finance, Legal Services, and Procurement stakeholders.
  • Uphold sound governance by demonstrating ethical decision-making processes and adhering to government probity requirements.
  • Contribute to large-scale procurement activities by drafting clear and concise contractual documentation.
  • Support the Manager (Contract Management) and team members in ensuring all parties meet their obligations through the implementation of robust service contract administration frameworks.
  • Plan and conduct consultation activities with delivery partners and other stakeholders, as needed, to address all aspects of service delivery related to service contracts.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with delivery partners, internal agencies, and external parties to ensure compliance with policies, service contracts and mutual obligations.
  • Assist with reporting and payment processes by accurately analysing monthly claims, maintaining precise records, and providing required reports.
  • Conduct high-level research, reviews, or investigations, including preparing reports and associated documentation, as required.

Requirements of the role

  • Ability to successfully form strong working relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Upholds integrity through responsible management and use of processes and resources.
  • Ability to analyse service contract data and performance information to proactively form evidence-based recommendations.
  • Experience in performance-based contract management practices.
  • Ability to travel to remote communities and represent TMR at community forums.

Desirable requirements of the role

  • Experience in the aviation sector.
