As Director (ICT Project Delivery Office), you will lead the Business Solution Delivery (BSD) unit which provides information communication technology (ICT) project management and software delivery services. BSD utilises a range of best practice project management methodologies, frameworks, and standards, and engages a mix of internal capability, external expertise, and implementation partners.
Some of your responsibilities will be to:
- Lead and inspire the Program Management Office (PMO) team, shaping its direction and driving operational excellence.
- Build a contemporary, bimodal digital delivery capability, embracing agile and customer-focused approaches.
- Facilitate the development of cross-functional delivery teams, ensuring compliance with governance, legislative, and financial requirements.
- Drive the planning and development of project delivery capabilities, fostering agility in both people and systems.
- Provide strategic advice to senior executives on program management and opportunities to enhance business outcomes.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration across projects.
- Contribute to a collaborative leadership culture, focused on improving customer satisfaction and branch performance.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to demonstrate:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior executives, clients, and business partners.
- Certification in contemporary program and/or project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP, Agile).
- A proven track record of building high-performing teams and delivering ICT programs of work.
