This is a unique opportunity to lead meaningful change and contribute to a safer, more inclusive, and culturally responsive workplace.

As the Principal Advisor, you will lead the development, coordination, and implementation of innovative safety, wellbeing, and injury management strategies, policies, and practices that drive positive organisational outcomes. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior management and staff, you will ensure compliance with the Work Health and Safety Act 2011, Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003, and associated regulations, while championing best practices in psychological and physical safety.

Your key responsibilities will include leading, coaching, and mentoring the Senior Advisor SWIM to deliver impactful safety and wellbeing initiatives. You will design and deliver training programs to enhance organisational capability, manage injury claims and return-to-work programs, and evaluate SWIM services to ensure alignment with organisational goals and value-adding outcomes. Additionally, you will prepare high-quality reports, submissions, and executive briefs on safety, wellbeing, and injury management matters, while building and sustaining strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

We are seeking a candidate with demonstrated expertise in leading complex safety, wellbeing, and injury management initiatives, supported by strong governance and risk management skills. responsiveness.

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by creating a safe, inclusive, and high-performing workplace. You will work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders to lift living standards for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and celebrate Queensland's cultural diversity.

If you are a resilient, adaptable leader with a passion for driving positive change, we encourage you to apply. Join us in shaping a workplace that prioritises health, safety, and wellbeing while promoting diversity and inclusion.
