Do you have a passion for compliance, risk and intelligence; education and engagement with the public and stakeholders; and delivering exceptional client service in a regulatory environment? We're creating a talent pool of professionals to join the Labour Hire Licensing Compliance Unit (LHLCU) in temporary roles that help promote fairness and protect workers across Queensland. As part of this team, you'll play a frontline role in providing accurate information to stakeholders, identifying risk, supporting compliance investigations, and helping ensure businesses meet their obligations under the Labour Hire Licensing Act 2017.

What You'll Do

• Provide clear and accurate information to clients about labour hire licensing legislation.
• Conduct research and analysis to support case investigations and audits.
• Assist Principal Inspectors on compliance and education activities.
• Manage and maintain case records, interrogate licensing data, assess risk, investigate complaints and prepare statistical reports.
• Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and positive workplace culture.

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and client service skills, with the ability to explain complex information.
• Ability to interpret and apply legislation and policies.
• Research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and manage competing priorities.

Relevant experience or tertiary qualifications in law, business, or public policy are highly regarded but not mandatory.
