To help keep Queensland moving, we are actively recruiting for a Town Planner to assist in ensuring members of the community and key stakeholders are provided with accurate, consistent and timely information in relation to road infrastructure and related activities on and around the state-controlled road network.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
• Experience in providing specialist town planning and development assessment advice.
• Demonstrated knowledge and practice of Planning Policy in accordance with Town Planning legislation, processes and policies.
• Excellent communication skills in order to maintain and manage effective liaison with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work within strict deadlines.
• A Degree in Town Planning or in another profession relevant to this role which is acceptable by the Planning Institute of Australia.
