You will be part of a dynamic, and motivated team and will be supported to achieve your best. You will be comfortable with collaboration and negotiation, building sustainable and positive working relationships and participating in a range of tasks.
As the Senior Executive Assistant, you will:
• Provide confidential executive support services including diary management, coordination of briefing and meeting papers, and travel arrangements.
• Assist with meeting coordination and preparation of agendas, recording and circulating of minutes and follow up of action items.
• Liaise with the Office of the Director-General and external boards and committees on behalf of the DDG, attending to visitors, and directing enquiries in a timely manner.
• Assist the divisional management, and quality assurance of correspondence and materials prepared by the division to ensure accuracy and compliance with executive and Ministerial style guides and requirements using the department's ministerial and executive correspondence system.
• Support the ODDG to provide high level timely business operations including governance, correspondence, business support, advice, and administration as required.
• Foster a workplace culture that supports a safe and positive environment andpromotes the interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations peoples of Australia.
