Business Support Officer

As the Business Support Officer, you will assist in the administrative and business needs of the Courts Reform teams, including Operational Policy Integration and Advisory and Courts Learning, Development and Engagement. You will act as the first point of contact for internal business matters and perform financial, human resource and administrative duties. This will include meeting secretariat, data entry, and managing records, tasks and correspondence.
Additionally, you will support training events, undertaking activities such as coordination of training events, maintaining registrations and completions and providing technical support for online training.

Your key responsibilities 
• Provide high quality administrative and executive support to the team, including practices to improve efficiency and service delivery. 
• Manage central email accounts and digital work platforms and make internal referrals where appropriate. 
• Develop and maintain effective and efficient administrative and business processes to support the team, including to report on performance. 
• Undertake spending and budget monitoring activities, recruitment activities and workload analytics. 
• Draft and coordinate correspondence as required, including communications. 
• Triage support and advice requests and support the coordination of biannual maintenance cycles for policies and procedures, including amendments to address minor issues, and the removal of obsolete information from the department intranet. 
• Monitor and manage the coordination of training, including responding to training registrations, sending calendar invites, maintaining accurate training records post training, and providing technical support when required for online training delivery.
• Develop training reports to inform CAT leadership training engagement across business unit.
• Undertake other duties as requested.
