Your responsibilities
- Identify capable businesses in new industries and provide them with information on departmental programs and initiatives and other opportunities to support growth, investment and supply chain development.
- Leverage your networks to facilitate and assist industry to connect with all levels of Government.
- Lead strategic projects or studies related to new industries.
- Support planning and delivery of economic priorities of regional communities
- Provide briefings, submissions, reports and other documentation as required.
- Represent the department at meetings, committees and industry events.
- Develop effective relationships with industry, all levels of government, peak industry bodies and other key stakeholders, to support delivery of regional outcomes.
