QBuild is a commercialised business unit of the Queensland Government. It has been Queensland Government's builder for over 160 years, playing an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities.
About the role
You will play a pivotal role in supporting QBuild's ambition to strengthen Queensland's building and construction industry by providing exceptional administrative support.
Duties and skills involved:
- Provide efficient and high standards of customer service to QBuild customers.
- Undertake travel bookings, including flights, accommodation, charters, ferries, and car hire within required time frames.
- Monitor and manage internal and external correspondence, and incoming and outgoing telephone calls, ensuring responses are provided within required time frames.
- Connect with industry, local suppliers, and internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely and effective delivery of services.
- Demonstrate professionalism, contribute positively to the team and culture, and handle recurring work and general administration functions effectively.
