We are seeking an enthusiastic Administrative Officer (Costing) to join our team at Department of Transport and Main Roads. In this role, you will assist project teams with funding and costing activities, data entry, progress claims, and end-of-month reporting—all while ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures.

In the role of Administrative Officer (Costing), you will provide a range of administrative program and project support services to project team members utilising a broad range of software programs and systems while ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures.

Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Basic program/project funding and costing activities
• Data entry into appropriate departmental database and computer systems
• Mail, filing and document control activities
• Word processing

To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate providing project teams with administration and clerical support which may include:
• Processing progress claims
• Updating registers
• Answering enquiries from project managers
• Processing sales orders
• Processing project closures.
• Assisting in the preparation of end of month activities.
• Assisting with other miscellaneous activities.
