Senior Project Officer
Grant Programs; Investment Infrastructure and Grants; Tourism; Brisbane City
Play a key role in the administration of grant programs relating to the tourism portfolio including programs related to supporting the Destination 2045: Delivering Queensland’s Tourism future plan. As Senior Project Officer, Grant Programs, you will apply the DETSI Grants Administration Framework to undertake assessment processes, develop grant contracts with successful applicants and manage grant deeds under contract.

We're looking for the best suited applicant for the role. As the Senior Project Officer (AO5) you will:
• Contribute to the planning, delivery and implementation of grants and related projects by maintaining.
documentation to track and report progress (e.g. project plan, risk register, issues register, progress reports and evaluation documents) and provide advice to management on these matters.
• Support the management of workloads, meet deadlines and commitments and complete tasks within a tight timeframe both independently and within a team.
• Provide high level administrative support for launch of funding rounds, grant programs and related projects including receiving and assessing applications for funding.
• Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to assist in the delivery grant programs.
• Support the development of grant deeds, implementation of grant projects, guidelines and evaluation processes, ensuring that project and program level information is available to assess status and meet reporting requirements and ensuring program governance is undertaken to a high standard.
• Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better
outcomes for First Nations people.
