Role details

The Operational Services (Rural) at the Collinsville Multi-Purpose Health Service is seeking applications for an Allied Health Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity

To contribute to patient care through the provision of clinical support tasks under the direction and supervision of an Allied Health Professional.

About the Team

The Collinsville Multi-Purpose Health Service (MPHS) consists of Hospital services, an Aged Care beds and Community Health with a private General Practice on site. The Collinsville MPHS has an eight (8) bed acute inpatient facility and an emergency and outpatient service. In addition, there are seven (7) Aged Care beds, Medical Imaging with a local licenced operators and a visiting radiographer, a range of Telehealth services and ambulatory care including allied health, child health and women's health services.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
